ETHIC NCMR REACTOR BENEFITS
Ethic Energy technology substantially reduces the energy and capital cost associated with conventional syngas and hydrogen production, and its many by-products by ~50%
- Ethic Energy’s revolutionary technology breakthrough forever changes the economics of the energy and chemical sectors
- NCMR Reactors are 40 to 50% more efficient in processing natural or bio gas than current technology
- NCMR Reactors eliminate 4 of the expensive energy consuming processes of today’s state-of-the-art steam reforming technology
- NCMR Reactors require no air separation units, no steam reforming, no CO2 removal, no need to further refine the syngas
- NCMR Reactors significantly lower the capital expense to build and maintain a GTL refinery
- NCMR Reactors require no external energy for operation once started
- NCMR Reactors are environmentally responsible – producing no Sulphur, no CO2 and no NOx
- NCMR Reactors produce a gallon of liquid transportation fuel at a raw material cost of 81.56% less than petroleum refining
Ethic’s disruptive NCMR Reactor – for the first time in human history profitably monetize environmentally responsible fuels – far cheaper than they can be produced today – from stranded and associated gas that currently has no economic value that will significantly aid the nations of the world in meeting their future energy requirements.
NANO CERAMIC MEMBRANE REACTOR (NCMR)
NCMR Reactors take the current technically complicated, expensive, energy intensive and consuming processes of steam reforming used to produce syngas today, and reduce syngas production to one single process – the NCMR Reactor. It is important to understand this achievement of Ethic Energy is not evolutionary, the achievement is revolutionary.
In addition, the NCMR Reactor’s process is self-supporting (exothermic) meaning NCMR Reactors require no external energy (once started) and due to this fact save $10’s or 100’s of millions of dollars in yearly energy operation costs (depending on size of plant), significantly lowering the refining cost to produce a gallon of fuel. In addition, the heat produced by the reactors is captured to run power generators; producing electricity at a cost that approaches zero.
Even more significant NCMR Reactors use 40 to 50% less natural gas (the raw material and largest refinery cost driver) to produce 40% to 50% more syngas operating at unheard of conversion efficiency of natural gas / methane to syngas of 93% to 95%.

We are able to capture the energy from the heat generated by the NCMR Reactors (930oC) so there is no need for an external energy source, (i.e. the Reactors are exothermic) meaning the Reactors energy requirements are self-supporting. As a result, there is no need to burn large quantities of natural gas to heat boilers, or to fuel electrical power generators; eliminating the need to purchase electricity from a utility.
Moreover, the H2/CO (2:1) ratio of NCMR Reactors occurs in the correct ratio with the needs of the GTL (gas to liquids) process, which contributes significantly to further cost reduction; as there is no need for further processing of the syngas.
All of the problems that exist in today’s technology that produces syngas can be eliminated by making use of ceramic membranes with mixed ion-oxygen and electron conductivity or what Ethic Energy refers to as its NCMR Reactor.
The unique and proprietary approach of Ethic Energy membrane technology is the integration of oxygen separation, steam- and CO2- reforming, and partial oxidation of methane/natural gas into a single process.
Ethic Energy has eliminated the need for a separate oxygen-production plant, CO2 capture, the need for additional syngas refinement, as well as steam boilers.
Ethic Energy technology substantially reduces the energy and capital cost associated with conventional syngas and hydrogen production, and its many by-products by 50%.
Ethic Energy membrane technology enables us to eliminate NOx emissions by using nitrogen oxides as an oxygen source. In addition, the energy contained in the oxygen-depleted air stream can be recovered through the generation of power and steam to produce electricity, or other forms of energy.
Utilizing Ethic Energy NCMR technology, for the first time in history, it is now commercially and economically viable to refine distant gas resources (stranded gas/flare-off) that are now too remote to transport, and more importantly, provide a 21st-century substitute for oil.
In summary, Ethic Energy is able to profitably monetize what currently has no economic value, by producing both cheap and plentiful energy while significantly reducing greenhouse-gas emissions, and reducing by 60 to 90% harmful particulates (pollution) at the tail pipe of our cars, trucks and aircraft.
